MCI USA’s Association Solutions division is pleased to welcome the National Association of Hispanic Nurses as a new full-service association management client. With a membership in 47 local chapters, NAHN is the voice of over 276,000 Hispanic nurses across the United States.

MCI USA’s Association Solutions division is pleased to welcome the National Association of Hispanic Nurses as a new full-service association management client. With a membership in 47 local chapters, NAHN is the voice of over 276,000 Hispanic nurses across the United States. NAHN members advocate, educate, volunteer, seek partnerships, and conduct programming in the Hispanic community to improve outcomes, elevate literacy, heighten education, and influence policy.

“This is an important decision in NAHN’s quest to be a key player in the quest for health equity for the Hispanic community,” said Alana Cueto, MSN, RN, CNL, NAHN President. “NAHN’s new partnership with MCI USA will allow the NAHN board of directors to focus on the big-picture issues and build effective collaborations. We look forward to working with MCI USA, a knowledgeable partner that can help NAHN translate our vision into reality.”

NAHN recognizes excellence among Hispanic nurses, provides formal and informal mentoring opportunities, and serves as a center of excellence for its members. While Hispanics represent 18% of the US population, less than 7% of the nursing workforce is of Hispanic descent. NAHN’s goal is to create a cadre of highly qualified Hispanic nurses by advancing educational, professional and leadership skills and opportunities. NAHN is devoted to promoting safe, quality health care delivery to Hispanic communities and individuals.
