SAN DIEGO, Feb. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MeBe, a San Diego–based agency helping children and young adults facing challenges related to speech, language, sensory processing, motor delays, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), will open a comprehensive learning center in San Diego, California, February 15. Families can access multi-disciplinary care, including one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, feeding therapy services, and social skills groups.
"At MeBe, our mission is to make life more joyful for families facing tough challenges that are often frustrating and isolating," said MeBe Co-founder and Executive Director Abigail Bunt, M.Ed., BCBA. "We are thrilled to open our learning center as a centrally located, convenient one-stop shop designed to help families thrive."
With its 10,000-square-foot learning center, MeBe has integrated a wide variety of services not usually found under one roof to provide children needing early intervention a fun, distraction-free, and dynamic environment—facilitated by compassionate, rigorously trained therapists.
The services at the center are designed to build on and complement one another, positioning children for a seamless transition from the learning center environment to the home learning setting, and ultimately school readiness. The early intervention ABA Day Program combines one-on-one therapy with group activities in a preschool-style classroom setting, including circle time, motor skills, and arts and crafts. The center's feeding clinic—only the second of its kind in the area—is designed to leverage ABA, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy together instead of simply the mechanics of eating.
"We're absolutely thrilled to introduce MeBe's Learning Center concept to the community," said Patrick Bunt, MeBe co-founder and president. "It's always been our mission to provide families the highest quality, most comprehensive services available for their children and the Learning Center represents yet another step toward that objective."
From providing a group of supportive peers for children to practice their skills, to facilitating group training for parents, to offering programs that help them learn to follow group instructions in a classroom setting, MeBe's founders are committed to bringing it all together to help children practice essential life interactions.
The MeBe San Diego Learning Center is located at 3878 Ruffin Road, San Diego, California, 92123. Learn more about the learning center at http://www.mebefamily.com or by calling (619) 795-9925.
