From outdated to updated, Med5's new website has stepped into a new age of user interface and accessibility.

The executive team at the credit union wanted to feature video of the downtown area and it really came together nicely. Our “Mobile First” mentality combined with easy to navigate menus and clean layouts is on full display here.

OMNICOMMANDER, a financial technology startup specializing in Website Design, Social Media, Branding and Outsourced Marketing for credit unions, today announces the launch of MED5 Federal Credit Union's new website.

The completely revamped website features modern, mobile-responsive and accessible design, improved functionality and enriched content areas to help current and prospective credit union members make well-informed decisions about their banking, financial needs and goals. The developers built custom animation specifically for this website adding a little flair and creativity.

OMNICOMMANDER Founder and CEO, Eric Isham said, “Med5 FCU’s new site is another incredible example of what credit unions of any size should be aspiring to. This is our first website to go live in South Dakota and I have to say the end result is simply amazing. The executive team at the credit union wanted to feature video of the downtown area and it really came together nicely. Our “Mobile First” mentality combined with easy to navigate menus and clean layouts is on full display here. The team responsible for making this come to life have once again done a beautiful job.”

To stay ahead of the curve in compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, OMNICOMMANDER developed an industry first four step process for website accessibility. With litigation risks sweeping the country, credit unions have found themselves needing a partner experienced in building websites that are WCAG 2.1, level AA compliant. "Scanners and widgets simply don't work. Only manual reviews of websites can insure accessibility," stated Isham. "We have full-time compliance officers as well as a disabled blind veteran on board who ensures our websites are accessible."

Med5 Federal Credit Union President and CEO Pam Brown-Graff said, “We did an extensive amount of due diligence during our search for a new web provider. Everywhere we turned we kept running into these guys. All roads continued to lead to OMNICOMMANDER. With all the attention being given to ADA compliance, it was important that we partner with the absolute experts in this field. We knew immediately after signing the agreement to go with OMNICOMMANDER that we made the right decision. Their meticulous attention to detail approach was very reassuring. We knew exactly what was happening throughout the 4 week project. We could not be any happier with our new website and our new partner, OMNICOMMANDER. The entire staff and all our members love it!”
