ALPHARETTA, Ga., Nov. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A new survey by MedReps (http://www.medreps.com), a career site for medical sales representatives, identified CONMED, Teleflex, and Medtronic as the overall top medical sales companies to work for this year.
The 8th Annual Best Places to Work in Medical Sales survey polled over 800 professionals from the MedReps community to determine which medical sales employers are currently the most sought-after in the industry. The survey results revealed what qualities and values are most important, leading respondents to vote for their favorite company. A few of those values include work-life balance (82 percent), team building and collaboration (54 percent), and a solid product line (41 percent).
"This year, we found the Best Places to Work winners are specifically focused on people -- both employees and customers," said Karyn Mullins, president at MedReps. "Medical sales job seekers can be assured that these companies are prioritizing corporate culture and strong product lines."

Notable findings from the survey include:
- Surprisingly, only 9 percent of respondents say they placed their Best Places to Work vote based on compensation.
- 56 percent of respondents selected "Honest/Trustworthy" as one of the two most important characteristics of a good leader.
- Unfortunately, 52 percent of employed respondents are currently looking for a new job.
- When asked, "What is the best part of your job?" 30 percent of respondents said "making a difference."
"Even though medical sales employee satisfaction is once again up, employees are still looking for new jobs," Mullins said. "To entice employees to stay, leaders need to remain focused on the people-aspects of their organizations."
