MedShift today announced the formation of a new in-house communications agency, MedShift Connect, which will formally lead all communications, marketing, and PR conceptualization, strategy, and implementation for the tech innovator’s clients going forward. The new division will align and grow MedShift’s rapidly expanding digital media efforts for medical practices and manufacturers worldwide. The new division is expected to deliver up to 20% of MedShift’s annual revenues, making it the company’s second largest operating unit.
Recent device acquisitions in partnership with Merz North America, BTL, and Apyx Medical have nearly tripled the company’s marketing needs. As the company explores new business verticals, MedShift is working to scale up its internal infrastructure. Victoria Olszowy, current VP of Communications, has been appointed to lead the new agency.
“We have made strategic acquisitions that necessitate more robust engagement between our stakeholders and the market. As our client portfolio is rapidly expanding, so have our needs for the highest quality of communications expertise,” says MedShift CEO Brian Phillips. “We feel that the addition of MedShift Connect comes at a natural time in the life of our company and we have full confidence in Victoria’s ability to steer this new division towards bigger and better horizons.”
Olszowy has more than 15 years of senior leadership experience. Prior to that, she oversaw communications directives for an international corporate client portfolio for Golin and Havas PR in major sports initiatives.
“Victoria’s extensive communications background and business development skills have been and will continue to be an asset to MedShift in this new chapter. I have every confidence she will be instrumental in strengthening our partnerships, developing strategic alliances, and expanding our communications presence in a big way,” Phillips adds.
The announcement highlights MedShift’s recent evolution as a multitiered firm, acting not only as a cloud technology and medical device specialist, but as a formidable marketing authority and client advocate in the digital space.
“The new scale of our operation demands a higher level of expertise, and I am thrilled to realize the full potential of our portfolio with MedShift Connect,” says Olszowy. “By developing strong campaigns, producing quality content, and advancing game-changing brands, we enhance our ability to create integrated growth platforms for clients for additional expansion.”
