MedSys Group Names Georgia E. Dittmeier as Senior Strategist within its Advisory Services Division
Plano, Texas (PRWEB) February 24, 2016 -- MedSys Group today announced that Georgia E. Dittmeier will join its Advisory Services Division as Senior Strategic Advisor. Dittmeier will engage the customer base, including government services enterprise business functions, to design solutions and resolve issues encountered by the client team.
“Dittmeier’s excellent skills and experience in operations, business development, consulting,
workflow redesigns, and project management have prepared her for her role as a business advisor and executive client manager,” Nancy Miracle, RN, Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer said. “Her research background provides expertise in quality improvement and analytics, change management, and value-based outcomes. Her extensive clinical and operational experience will assist our customers in driving value and results from the HCITsystems. It will be a privilege to work side-by-side with her as a member of the MedSys Advisory Services team.”
Dittmeier brings over 15 years’ healthcare information services experience. Her most recent experience was as a Senior Client Executive with Picis Clinical Solutions as the Veterans Administration client manager. Her past roles included Senior Business Advisor with United Healthcare, Cardiology Product Manager for General Electric and Enterprise Architect at Cerner Corporation.
She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After her graduation, she began her clinical career in the cardiac open heart unit of St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. She continued her clinical work in leadership positions in cardiology, including serving as the Director of the Mid- America Cardiology Lipid Clinic and the Director of Cardiology at Health Midwest in Kansas City. Dittmeier’s clinical experience and leadership in the delivery of health care and her desire improve clinical care, wellness, disease management, and improve healthcare technology lead her to a career in healthcare analytics.
