Mekky Media to offer transformative Masterclass on Nov. 15, to fuel success for professionals who want to take their business and/or career to the next level
PR veteran Michelle Mekky, recent Crain's Notable Entrepreneur, will team with other industry leaders to help participants learn to spread their message with confidence.
CHICAGO, Sept. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mekky Media Relations Inc. is launching a transformative Masterclass designed to help executives, business leaders and professionals more effectively put themselves out there and tell their stories – whatever they might be. Tickets are now on sale for the one-day workshop, which will be held Friday, Nov. 15, at Exchange312, an innovative event space in Wicker Park. The inaugural Mekky Media Masterclass will help each participant become a dynamic public speaker, network with confidence and conduct powerful media interviews (plus learn a few tricks for getting media coverage). The day will focus on providing valuable tools that can help professionals improve their career, business and future.

Mekky, who has more than 20 years of experience as a broadcast journalist and award-winning PR executive, says many of the lessons she will impart during the Masterclass come from her entrepreneurial journey. She started Mekky Media three and half years ago with just one client. But her agency has experienced an explosion of growth and now serves a diverse roster of companies in Chicago and beyond. Mekky and the agency have received several awards and honors throughout the fast-paced launch, including the recent Crain's Notable Entrepreneur designation. Mekky is one of 44 businesspeople selected this year, based on identifying needs and opportunities in the market, organizing and running a company, and taking on greater-than-normal financial risk.
In addition to Mekky, the Masterclass will be led by media and PR veterans, such as television producers and agency leaders. Noted members of the media will make guest appearances and work directly with attendees.

In addition, Mekky Media is hosting a free happy hour from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Joe's Imports, 813 W. Fulton Market.
