Menasha Wins IIDA Award at GlobalShop 2016
NEENAH, Wis. (PRWEB) March 30, 2016 -- Menasha wins an international product design award in the in-store marketing/point-of-purchase category for its Kellogg’s® Pop-Tarts® Toaster Display from the International Interior Design Association in Las Vegas, Nev. Thursday.
“This was our first year competing in the IIDA awards and we are thrilled to be recognized,” said Dennis Bonn, vice president of marketing at Menasha. “At Menasha we believe in the power of design and how a well-designed display can impact a consumer’s experience in a retail environment and ultimately how they engage with the end product.”
All IIDA Award winners were announced at GlobalShop 2016 in Las Vegas Thursday, March 24. GlobalShop is the world’s largest annual trade show and conference dedicated to store design, visual merchandising and shopper marketing.
The International Interior Design Association Product Design Competition honors manufacturers and designers for advancements in innovation, function and aesthetics in product design for the retail industry.
Winners are chosen by a jury of design professionals and evaluated based on the successful completion of project requirements, in addition to the appropriateness of the design solution and the successful integration of the elements of design. The categories include: fixtures, flooring, lighting, mannequins/forms, materials, surfacing, wallcoverings, retail technology solutions, in-store marketing/POP and signage graphics.
