As the wealth management industry continues to become more complex and competitive, we are making continued investments in our people and highly customized services for our clients to retain our position of leadership and excellence.

Mercer Advisors Inc. (“Mercer Advisors”), a national Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) firm, today announced that the firm has won multiple awards in the prestigious wealthmanagement.com Industry Awards program for 2019.

A judging panel of industry experts and luminaries recognized Mercer Advisors in the Family Office category for the InvestHERs, Mercer Advisors’ women’s initiative designed to promote diversity in the advisor industry, as well as to support women’s unique wealth management needs. In addition, Mercer Advisors top executive, CEO Dave Welling was named the “RIA Firm Leader of the Year.”

Mercer Advisors has expanded its diversity program, InvestHERS, which is a comprehensive initiative designed to attract women into the financial services industry, as well as to better serve the unique financial planning needs of women investors. One of the program’s goals is to increase the number and satisfaction of female advisors through scholarships, formal mentorship programs, and leadership development. The company has also customized its wealth management offerings, advice, and thought leadership to better meet the needs of its female clients.

“We developed the InvestHERs family office initiative and resources to promote diversity and ensure a tailored client experience,” said Dave Welling, CEO of Mercer Advisors. “As the wealth management industry continues to become more complex and competitive, we are making continued investments in our people and highly customized services for our clients to retain our position of leadership and excellence.”

Chief Executive Officer, Dave Welling, was hired mid-2017 to accelerate Mercer Advisors’ growth. He set the long-term strategy and is leading the organization to achieve it: staffing up, negotiating partnerships and technology deals, as well as increasing client satisfaction, retention, and share of wallet, resulting in impressive financial results. His impact has been exceptional, from developing a strong culture to building out its family office capabilities resulting in the firm’s growth from approximately $10 billion to over $16.5 billion in assets in just two years.

“We are extremely pleased, honored and humbled to be recognized as a multiple winner in this year’s wealthmangement.com awards program,” said Welling. “These awards are a testament to the hard work and team-oriented culture of the entire Mercer Advisors team and our clients. It is gratifying to know the commitment to excellence in client service of the entire organization is paying off not only in helping clients achieve their goals, but also across the industry as a leader in the wealth management space.”
