Mercy Health System Association of Volunteers Announces the 2015 Christmas Love Light Tree for Charity
Janesville, WI (PRWEB) December 17, 2015 -- From the office of Javon Bea, President and CEO of Mercy Health System - This year, the Mercy Health System Association of Volunteers hosted its 30th Love Light Tree lighting December 7, in the Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center lobby.
Each light on the tree shined in remembrance, honor and/or gratitude for a loved one. A donation of $3 represents one light on the Love Light Tree.
The Association’s Love Light Tree fundraising goal of $18,000 will benefit important community projects like Lifeline, Meals On Wheels, Hospitality House, and Wigs for Patients.
Since 1954, Mercy volunteers have provided comfort and caring to our patients, young and old, in times of need.
The Mission of the Mercy Health System Association of Volunteers is to:
- Perform the highest quality of volunteer services for improved health care.
- Act as ambassadors of good will for Mercy Health System in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois areas.
- Provide financial assistance through fundraising projects in the quest for health care at the lowest possible cost without sacrificing quality, service, and convenience.
