ABERDEEN, N.C., Sept. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Meridian, an industry leading manufacturer of indoor and outdoor kiosks, interactive digital signage, and self-service software recently announced the expansion of their internal leadership team. The expansion included the onboarding of three essential new leaders across the organization in the Sales, Marketing, and Software departments.
Tim Dobson joined the Meridian team as the Director of Sales. Dobson, an Elon graduate who made his way back to North Carolina by way of Arizona, brings a wealth of sales and channel partner experience to his new role. "As Meridian continues to expand our network of channel partners and resellers, Tim's wealth of knowledge and experience are essential to our success and growth as a company," said Meridian's CEO, Chris Gilder. Dobson is joined by colleague Kathryn Galloway, a long-time Moore County resident, and Meridian's newest Director of Marketing. "Kathryn has a tremendous background in design, website development, and brand management," said Gilder. "We are excited to have her on our team as our sales and marketing efforts continue to grow."
The final of the latest additions to the Meridian team is Chief Technology Officer, Sam Schroeder. Schroeder most recently served as a VP of Software Engineering & Hardware Manufacturing in Columbia, South Carolina. The first to ever fill the CTO role at Meridian, Schroeder will oversee all of Meridian's software-related efforts, both in Aberdeen, North Carolina and Mississauga Ontario, Canada.
After some initial Coronavirus-related challenges in the Spring, Meridian began focusing their attention on developing solutions to assist in business reopenings and employee safety. "As we've expanded our product line, software development efforts, and network of channel partners, the need for strategic leadership throughout the organization has continued to grow", said Gilder. "We are thrilled to welcome such a diverse, experienced group of leaders to our organization and are looking forward to the continued growth ahead."
The new leadership structure demonstrates Meridian's ongoing commitment to growth, development, and a commitment to offering the most innovative and highest quality self-service solutions.
