Honda has produced a line of crossovers that can cover just about any reasonable customer need. The 2019 Honda HR-V is a subcompact crossover SUV that is well-equipped across its entire trim ladder and features a competent balance between performance and efficiency. Meridian Honda customers looking for something with a little more power and interior space can take a closer look at the all-new 2019 Honda Passport that has recently been made available. Both Honda crossovers are currently on sale at Meridian Honda.

Just because the 2019 Honda HR-V is the smallest of the manufacturer’s crossover SUVs, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a lot to offer. The 2019 Honda HR-V is available in five trim grades, LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring. Each of them is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine making more than 140 horsepower and nearly 130 pound-feet of torque. However, where the 2019 HR-V really shines is interior cargo volume. When the inside of the 2019 Honda HR-V ready for hauling cargo, up to 58.8 cubic-feet of volume is available. The vehicle’s chief competitor tops out at fewer than 44.5 cubic-feet.

For the current model year, the 2019 Honda Passport has already made quite a name for itself at the Meridian Honda showroom. The all-new Passport is available in four trim grades, Sport, EX-L, Touring and Elite and all of them use a powerful 3.5-liter, V-6 engine. Its 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque make it one of the strongest performers in its class. One of the Honda crossover SUV’s top competitors uses a similar power plant but tops out at 260 horsepower.

Both the 2019 Honda HR-V and 2019 Honda Passport have available trims that feature Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Potential customers interested in this capability will need to pick the versions of both Honda crossover SUVs above the entry-level trims.
