Methodist ElderCare Services Announces Name Change to The Wesley Communities
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) September 15, 2017 -- The name change emphasizes the company’s commitment to its various locations and services in the area. The Wesley Communities includes Wesley Glen Retirement Community, Wesley Ridge Retirement Community, Wesley Woods at New Albany Retirement Community, Wesley At Home, and their hospice service.
“We selected The Wesley Communities because it clarifies our overall identity as an organization,” explained The Wesley Communities CEO Margret Carmany. “It aligns directly with our properties located south of Worthington, in Reynoldsburg, and in New Albany, as well as our services throughout the central Ohio region.”
The name change process also led to revising the mission statement, creating brevity and clarity across the organization. The new mission statement defines why The Wesley Communities exists, aligning with the organization's heritage and culture: We are a welcoming community of kindness and grace, where residents and staff thrive.
The name change is effective immediately and will be implemented across all properties and services throughout the rest of 2017.
