The ribbon-cutting event was attended by executives and elected officials including Mexico Grand Hotels president Gabriel Macias Dueñas; Los Cabos mayor Jesús Armida Castro Guzmán; Los Cabos Tourism Board director Rodrigo Esponda; Baja California Sur secretary of tourism, Luis Humberto Araiza Lopez; Interval International business development executive vice-president Marcos Agostini and BANCOMEX tourism finance director Yvette Valenzuela Becerra. Attendees enjoyed special words from hosts followed by rooftop cocktails at the property's stunning Sky Pool, one of Mexico's largest rooftop infinity pools. The celebrations continued throughout the evening with music and property tours.
