MFRG-ICON Construction, a leader in construction solutions for the occupied renovation of affordable multifamily and senior housing communities, recently brought on Peter “Gold” Ezugwu as Director of Community Relations and Partnerships to support the firm’s vision and make a lasting impact in the communities MFRG-ICON works closely in.

Ezugwu will use his extensive experience as a philanthropist, public speaker and in leadership to impact the communities where MFRG-ICON are headquartered and work. He will work alongside the firm’s social impact committee to identify opportunities for the firm to partner with non-profit organizations, clients, and other social and community organizations.

“Over the past several months, we listened to feedback from our team members about how we can be better advocates for social awareness and make a larger impact on our MFRG-ICON team and the communities we serve,” said Justin Krueger, CEO of MFRG-ICON Construction. “Having Peter join our team to help in this regard just felt right. “My worldly experience has given me a plethora of opportunities and experiences building businesses and leading teams while engaging with my local community,” said Ezugwu. “I am honored to work for a company that has identified a vision, that is lock and step with my values, intention and life's work. We want to make an impact that reverberates and changes our communities with long term, systemic influence in mind. I’m excited to work for a company that strives to make that kind of difference. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to contribute to the ultimate success of my employer and my colleagues and I plan to do the same with MFRG-ICON.”
