SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Professional services firm MGO LLP (MGO) has announced that Joseph Chung has joined the firm as a new Partner in their Silicon Valley office. Joseph will be the lead partner for Assurance engagements in the technology sector.
This move is a homecoming for Joseph, who first joined MGO in 2003, during which time he supervised the annual financial and compliance audits of large governmental entities, as well as public and private technology companies. He later moved on to join other large CPA firms, including a Big 4 firm where he managed audit engagements for publicly traded and venture backed clients in the technology industry. Now he returns to lead MGO's Assurance practice serving the technology sector.

Joseph has more than 15 years of audit experience working with both privately held and publicly traded organizations, primarily within the technology industry. He has specific expertise transitioning public clients from their previous auditors and assisting those companies in navigating the disclosure, logistics, and the impact of that process. In addition to public accounting experience, Joseph has worked in investment banking as an advisor where he executed principal investments and a range of debt and equity capital raises for clients in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.
Joseph is a CPA who holds an MBA with distinction from New York University's Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from University of California, Berkeley.
