MGO Appoints T. Renee Parker As National Tax Controversy Leader to Support Growth
MGO Tax Partner T. Renee Parker has been appointed leader of MGO's National Tax Controversy practice where she will focus on domestic and international tax controversy management for firm clients in the U.S. and around the world.

The move follows Parker's exemplary performance serving clients in complex tax matters and driving growth from MGO's Long Island office. In her new role, she will focus her efforts on domestic and international tax controversy management for MGO clients in the U.S. and around the world.

Renee has over 15 years of tax controversy experience and is a member of the IRS Tax Advocacy Panel. She is well versed in all areas of tax controversy including, but not limited to: U.S. Federal, state and local tax audits; sales and use/payroll tax audits; international tax compliance related audits, including FBARs and 5471s; negotiation and settlements with tax authorities; and correspondence and negotiation with tax authorities.
Prior to joining MGO, Renee was a Partner with Schwartz & Company, LLP. She started her career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP and spent approximately six years in public accounting. She then ventured to private industry and was an AVP of Tax at one of the largest retail mortgage lenders in the United States.
