Exhibiting at Salon National de L’Immobilier
Fernandez will lead the MIAMI exhibit and make several South Florida market presentations. The following MIAMI members will also participate: Franck Aravya of Beachfront Realty, Inc., Sacha Levi of Beachfront Realty, Inc., Sylvain Perret of Objectif USA Immobilier and Daphnee Perret of Objectif USA Immobilier.
MIAMI will make presentations at the Paris Expo at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 and at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 (Paris time).
MIAMI has exhibited at Salon de l'Immobilier since 2005, when the association signed a reciprocal agreement with the former FNAIM Paris-Ile de France (now FNAIM Grand Paris). Since then MIAMI has signed agreements with six other associations in France: FNAIM Haute-Garonne, FNAIM French Riviera, FNAIM Aix-Marseille-Provence, FIABCI France, FIABCI Marseille and FIABCI. These relationships have generated important exposure for Miami and South Florida throughout France, greatly increasing the market share of French buyers in the South Florida region.
Exhibiting and presenting at Salon National de L’Immobilier is part of MIAMI’s efforts to promote South Florida real estate worldwide. This year, MIAMI has participated and/or exhibited in France, Mexico, Spain, Colombia, and Brazil. MIAMI will also market South Florida at the Global Real Estate Pavilion at the 2018 National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Conference and Expo this November in Boston.
MIAMI promotes Miami real estate at these conferences and provides brokers and Realtors reference materials with important South Florida market facts to help them better serve their clients.
France: A Major Market for Miami Real Estate
French consumers tied with Ecuador and Mexico in purchasing the fifth-most Miami real estate among foreign countries, according to the 2017 Profile of International Homebuyers of MIAMI Association of RELATORS® Members. France registered 4 percent of all foreign South Florida transactions, according to the survey conducted by MIAMI and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
French buyers are attracted by South Florida’s beautiful weather, economic opportunities, absence of state income tax and the region’s welcoming environment for foreigners.
