MiamiPhotoFest Announces Itinerary, Confirms Participation by Renowned Photographers Ralph Gibson and Antoine d'Agata
The Florida Photographic Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, today announced its inaugural 2019 MiamiPhotoFest itinerary with confirmed participation by renowned photographers Ralph Gibson, Antoine d'Agata, Bruce Gilden, Roger Ballen, Maggie Steber and Andy Summers. The organization unites the global photographic community through powerful installations, workshops, and events highlighting exceptional and thought-provoking collections. MiamiPhotoFest 2019 will be held February 27 through March 3, 2019 at the historic Moore Building, 191 NE 40th Street, in the heart of the Miami Design District. Meanwhile, the 2019 MiamiPhotoFest International Emerging Photography Awards sponsored by Fujifilm are currently accepting submissions through January 6, 2019, with more than $40k in prizes.
MIAMI, Dec. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 2019 MiamiPhotoFest will offer curated exhibits, artist talks, and signings. The Photo Fest is expected to be a well-attended cultural and educational event and will include a wide array of photography workshops, lecture panels, Q&A sessions, free giveaways, portfolio reviews, a photobook fair, exciting youth activities, and grants. Also planned are book signings from several leading publishers in the area of photography. Attendees will receive a free copy of "Bull City Summer: A Season at the Ballpark", showcasing a select group of artists and documentarians who have captured behind-the-field scenes and stories during a season of minor league baseball.

Antoine d'Agata: "CODEX, America 1986-2017", which will be Antoine d'Agata's first solo U.S. exhibit, presentation, and book signing. Link

Bruce Gilden: Will be exhibiting for the first time his poignant series "Only God Can Judge Me" shot on the streets of Miami and Farm Boys and Farm Girls, a powerful portraiture series on young farm kids sponsored by Leica. Link
