PASADENA, Calif., Oct. 11, 2018 Newly established Marquez Private Wealth management does not skip a beat when it comes to providing local needy children with a memorable holiday event. Wrapping up her pivotal summer transition into her own eponymous Registered Investment Advisory firm, Michelle Marquez is dauntlessly continuing her energetic volunteering with the non-profit organization for a heartwarming year-end event targeted to the neediest families in the area.
Collaborating with other like-minded souls, Michelle volunteers tirelessly to provide a family friendly holiday celebration with children's activities, practical gifts, and a hot buffet dinner at the Pasadena Hilton planned for December.
Started in 2008 by adopting one family, the number of families benefitting from the annual event grew to maximum capacity (200) in Pasadena Hilton's generously donated, and their largest, ballroom. Not to be 'boxed in,' the decision to go borderless and mobile resulted in over 50 rolling duffle bags, packed with practical hygiene items, donated to the LA County Sheriff for distribution to homeless families, often living from shelter to shelter. Asked why she's not taking a break from a particularly strenuous summer, she says, "As I head into the end of the year and reflect on how much I have, volunteering to help make the holidays for needy, and homeless, families with dependent kids just a little bit brighter, even for just one evening, gives me enormous pleasure and starts my holiday in the right frame of mind."
