Online high school graduates earned more than $725,000 in scholarships
LANSING, Mich., June 21, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Michigan Connections Academy, a full-time, tuition-free online public school for students in grades K-12, recently honored the school's 112 graduating high school seniors. Donning caps and gowns, Michigan Connections Academy students walked the stage on June 20 at The Wharton Center for Performing Arts in East Lansing to officially bring their high school education to a triumphant close.
The Michigan Connections Academy Class of 2023 was awarded more than $725,000 in scholarships, with nearly half planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university. Additionally, 20% plan to enter the workforce, 13% are taking a gap year and 9% are pursuing vocational training. Other graduates are choosing to join the military or pursue other opportunities.
