Middle school teacher releases novel "The McKinnens" to teach an important lesson about racism and empathy

We are also introduced to Kevin Crow, who is relentless in ensuring that Molly understands and accepts the oppressive status quo. The story teaches readers how they can find a sense of togetherness with everyone and try to understand people's life issues.
