OMAHA, Neb., Mar. 17, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Midland University recently announced a redesigned hybrid Master of Business Administration (MBA). In addition to reducing tuition costs, the program offers enhanced flexibility where students choose their path, courses, and schedule as part of the 'MBA Your Way' model.
Through the hybrid MBA program, Midland students can participate in online and in-person courses to complete their degree. Recognized as a Top 50 MBA program nationally by Study.com, this hybrid model is designed for busy working professionals who need an online program's flexibility, but are still looking to build upon their professional network. During the in-person weekends, our students have the opportunity to connect with their peers and executive faculty to build life-long connections to help them excel on their career track.
"In the pursuit of being relentlessly relevant, Midland realized the traditional fully in-person format of pursuing a graduate degree is not feasible for everyone," said Jody Horner, president of Midland University. "We understand how difficult it can be to juggle pursuing an MBA with other life responsibilities and have made it our goal to create a more customized and flexible MBA program."
The program allows students to attend class in-person every other Friday or Saturday and fill the remaining weeks with relevant on-demand content provided by faculty to enhance the learning covered during in-person courses. Students can complete the accelerated, customizable program in as little as nine months while continuing to work full-time, and have the option to choose the courses they want to pursue.
In addition to creating this hybrid model, the university reduced the tuition by $12,400, making it one of the most affordable in the region. With continued focus on quality and academic rigor, this program is designed to produce graduates who display mastery of the tools and concepts needed to be a respected leader in the business world. Now, more students have the opportunity to further their education through Midland's innovative and affordable approach to graduate studies.
"At Midland, we want our students to be able to choose courses that align with their career aspirations," said Merritt Nelson, vice president of enrollment management and marketing at Midland University. "This MBA program is designed to meet the needs of today's professionals and accelerate their growth."
