Midwest Missouri Board of REALTORS® Merges with Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®
LEAWOOD, Kan. (PRWEB) January 10, 2019 -- The Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® (KCRAR) has announced the expansion of their regional service territory, now serving 30 counties across Kansas and Missouri. This expansion is a result of a merger with the Midwest Missouri Board of REALTORS® of Warrensburg, Mo.
Through this merger, the former members of the Midwest Missouri Board are now full members of KCRAR and its newly formed Midwest Missouri Chapter. Tony Conant, 2018 President-Elect of the Midwest Missouri Board will represent this new chapter on KCRAR’s 2019 Board of Directors.
The official merger of the Midwest Missouri Board of REALTORS® comes four years after the merger of their Multiple Listing Service (MLS) with KCRAR’s Heartland MLS. The MLS merger provided consumers more complete regional real estate data and enhanced access to cutting-edge MLS technologies for local agents.
“Following the successful merger of the MLS, it made perfect sense to further our partnership through a full merger,” said Steve Moyer, President of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS. “We are excited to welcome the members of the Midwest Missouri Chapter and to provide them access to the many additional services and benefits they will receive through their new membership with KCRAR, including free live and online continuing education.”
The Midwest Missouri Board of REALTORS® office located at 506 N. Maguire Street in Warrensburg remains staffed and operational. Relocation to a larger office space in Warrensburg is planned for mid-2019. Local members will also gain access to expanded services and educational offerings available at the KCRAR and Heartland MLS office in Leawood, Kan.
In addition to providing access to enhanced services, benefits and business tools for Warrensburg-area REALTORS®, KCRAR is also dedicated to preserving the former organization’s involvement in and support of the local community through continued community involvement and outreach efforts.
