Creator of popular Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs to appear in early November at two Costco locations as KNOBEL goes on sale in select stores.
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- KNOBEL Tennessee Whiskey, an award-winning Tennessee whiskey brand founded by Mike Rowe, creator and host of the popular Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs, is giving fans a chance to meet Mike and grab a pre-signed bottle of his whiskey in Southern California at two upcoming Costco events in early November as it rolls out to select local Costco stores in time for the holidays.
Mike will be at the Costco in Cypress, California (5401 Katella Ave, Cypress CA 90720-2809) on Thursday, November 5th, 2026, from 3:30-5:30 pm, as well as the Van Nuys Costco (6100 Sepulveda Blvd, Van Nuys CA 91411-2503) on Tuesday, November 10th, 2026, from 4:30-6:30 pm.
At both Costco locations, Mike will be available to say hi and shake fans' hands. No dirty jobs activity will be going on during this time - just good old clean fun meeting and greeting hardworking people as they learn about a whiskey made specifically for them.
"I've always believed that hard work deserves a good reward," said Mike. "That's one reason we made KNOBEL.
"And now that Costco is carrying it, you can pick up a bottle right alongside your toilet paper, rotisserie chicken, and a year's supply of mayonnaise. I'll be there to shake hands, sign a few hundred bottles, and personally assure everyone that no actual dirty jobs will be performed on the premises. First come, first served."
KNOBEL Tennessee Whiskey is made using the finest ingredients from local farmers in Tennessee. Immediately after distilling, this whiskey is charcoal-filtered, commonly known as the Lincoln County Process, and aged for approximately five years in hand-toasted, new American oak barrels. It was named Best Tennessee Whiskey Bottled & Blended at the 2026 American Distilling Institute International Spirits Competition (ADI), and also earned a Gold Medal at the 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards.
The whiskey, bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof), has a rich, honey color and starts with sweet caramel and spicy orange aromas with hints of vanilla, almond, and oak. Warm flavors of sugar cookies, ginger, and fall spices fill the palate, leaving a long, sweet, and spicy finish reminiscent of apple pie.
