GLENCOE, Minn. (PRWEB) December 21, 2020
The Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism has awarded Miller Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer and distributor of farm, ranch and pet products with the Business Investment Award.
Due to Covid-19, the award was presented virtually at the 2020 Annual Member banquet. Miller won the award due to its addition of a 37,000 square foot expansion to their finished goods warehouse and its overall business expansion.
“2020 has seen the largest growth in the history of Miller. This has allowed Miller to expand our facilities and our local workforce with 65 new jobs added in Glencoe this year alone. We still have a lot of open positions that we are currently trying to fill. In addition, we have started the process of reshoring products currently being made in China and other global locations and we are adding a new manufacturing facility in Anoka, Minnesota,” said Miller CEO, Dan Ferrise.
With more people staying at home, Miller is seeing unprecedented growth in business leading to an investment in the people of Glencoe and the surrounding McLeod County communities. Miller provides an excellent opportunity for anyone in the Glencoe area interested in joining a stable, local, growing organization with flexible hours and the opportunity to advance. “There’s never been a better time to join the Miller team. We are hiring for manufacturing and warehouse positions and at all levels including laborers, supervisors and managers,” said Ferrise.
