MilSource: New Integrated Soldier Power and Data Management Solutions Round Out Techaya's Comprehensive Line of Soldier-Carry Solutions
MILTECH 404 and MILTECH 410 Hubs Add Power Management and Device Charging to Battle the War on Weight for Today's Soldier
LOS ANGELES, July 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MilSource today announced the availability of Techaya's MILTECH 404 and MILTECH 410, both of which combine data management for soldier-carry networked electronics along with power management and charging for the devices. The MILTECH 404 combines LAN, USB, serial and SMBus ports along with a powerful SOM running Linux OS for smart power management and an open platform for running tactical applications. The MILTECH 410 integrates 1G LAN, USB 3.1 and SMBus ports and adds prioritized energy supply management along with a port that can be connected to an external power supply to "plug-in" and charge the man-packable batteries and devices.
The modern "Next-Gen" digital soldier has become a source of battlefield intelligence -- fully equipped with advanced weapon and communication systems that include multiple electronic devices necessary for modern warfare. These new devices add weight and multiple power and connection requirements. This calls for flexible switches and hubs that are miniaturized and deliver smart power management to help lighten their load. Techaya's MILTECH 404 and MILTECH 410 are Integrated Soldier Power and Data Management Systems (ISPDS) that round out Techaya's comprehensive line of soldier-carry solutions that address these needs.
Other products in the portfolio include:
MILTECH 303 - A USB 3.1 HUB with power and charge USB devices
MILTECH 306 - A USB 2.0 HUB with 7+1 ports
MILTECH 402 - A PoE Ethernet switch with 5 Fast Ethernet LAN ports that support a mix of PoE, 5Vdc and 10V-16.8 to charge/power LAN connected devices
MILTECH 406 - A miniature communications grid that combines LAN, USB, serial and SMBus interfaces
All of Techaya's soldier-carry solutions are MIL-STD 810 and IP 68 rated to stand up to the toughest environments. The MILTECH 404 measures just 4.6" x 4.85" x .98" and weighs just 300 G. The MILTECH 410 measures just 4.6" x 3.58" x 1.06" and weighs just 310 G.
