Minden, Louisiana Sparkles with a Full Day of Holiday Festivities, Dec. 7
Minden, LA (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Celebrate Christmas with the folks from the “Friendliest City in the South.” Join Minden on December 7 for a full day of holiday festivities beginning at 10 a.m. as the downtown antique, specialty shops and galleries open for business. The Minden Community Chorus will provide free music, caroling and refreshments 3-4 p.m. at City Art Works, located at 701 Main Street.
A free trolley is available to The Winter Wonderland Festival located at “The Farm” for unique one-of-a-kind Christmas and gift items, noon -7 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy a free trolley ride in downtown, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., for the Christmas Tour of Homes in the Historic District. The tour includes homes and buildings with varied architecture including Greek Revival, Spanish Colonial, Farm House and Victorian.

Be sure and make plans to stay all day and complete your Christmas experience in Minden at the Minden Annual Christmas Parade at 5 p.m. and then drive through beautiful downtown Minden and enjoy thousands of Christmas lights, displays and life-size nutcrackers.
