Narrative is a fictionalized account of a true story, written by someone involved
KALISPELL, Mont., Nov. 1, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "Broken, Yet Triumphant," by Aimee Filan Anderson, is both a murder-mystery and a personal account of two people as they try to come to terms with the brutal murder of their friends, while walking in service of the Lord.
Though this is a fictional account, it is based upon a very real event that happened to Anderson and her husband in 1971. Told from the point of view of a minister's wife, this murder-mystery incorporates private, emotional episodes including near-death experiences, stolen property, and the fish-bowl existence of the minister's home, through the eyes and heart of the protagonist.
"I have learned that honesty in personal relationships and character transparency can be costly," said Anderson. "However, people in real trouble require and demand genuine openness. I hope my book reveals how divine strength builds on human weakness, to make the impossible possible."
In 2018, Anderson's manuscript was made into a feature film entitled "A Murder of Innocence," and is currently available to stream from several sites, including Amazon and YouTube.
Having authored nine more books, Anderson's other works include a series co-authored with her husband about the corruption that is often present within church leadership and the United States Government. Billed as the candid truth of illegal activities that occurred in churches from the very people who often preach about following God's laws, Anderson details how this type of immorality is still prevalent today.
"This story weighed so heavily on my heart that I wanted to share with the world," said Anderson. "Fear can be debilitating unless it is conquered and, with Jesus, we can overcome anything in life."
