WASHINGTON and BRNO, Czech Republic, April 4, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mission IT, a rapidly growing cybersecurity technology and strategy consulting company with headquarters in Washington, D.C., is excited to announce the opening of its new European business operations. With a focus on cloud security, defensive cyber operations, and offensive cyber capabilities, Mission IT is expanding to Europe to provide cybersecurity technology and advisory services to NATO and regional governments in the national security and defense markets.
The company's move to Europe, specifically within the Czech Republic, is strategic, given the country's central location in Europe and its thriving technology sector. With this expansion, Mission IT aims to establish its European operations and build an engineering presence in Brno and Prague.
This expansion marks the latest forward momentum of Mission IT and its founder Shawn Wells, who has recently been accepted into the Forbes Technology Council. With a focus on the government sectors in North America and Europe, Mission IT has also established strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Red Hat, GitLab, Google Cloud, Splunk, and WalkMe.
"Opening operations in Europe is an exciting milestone for us," said Shawn Wells, Founder & CEO of Mission IT. "We believe that our cloud security and cyber operations expertise can provide immense value to NATO partners in Europe. We look forward to working with them to secure their digital infrastructure."
Additionally, as part of Mission IT's move to expand its business operations to Europe, it announces hiring industry-leading cloud and cybersecurity technologist Šimon Lukašík, based out of Brno, Czech Republic. Lukašík joins Mission IT from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, where he focused on cloud, Kubernetes, and serverless security. Prior roles include Principle Software Engineer at open source company Red Hat, where Lukašík designed hybrid cloud management platforms and OpenSCAP, a security automation technology.
"With businesses facing an ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity risks, it's essential to have a partner that truly understands adversarial capabilities and their technologies," said Šimon Lukašík. "That's why I'm thrilled to join Mission IT. The company's technical focus on cloud security, for both offensive and defensive purposes, and its commitment to providing top-notch solutions to clients, makes it an ideal partner for businesses looking to safeguard their digital infrastructure."
With the opening of European operations and the strategic addition of Šimon Lukašík, Mission IT is poised to continue to provide innovative solutions to clients across industries and deliver on its commitment to safeguarding businesses from cyber threats.
