Missouri Military Academy Summer Camps Develop Grit, Resilience and Confidence in Kids
Parents looking to provide opportunities for growth for their children this summer can find it at Missouri Military Academy (MMA) summer camps. Summer camp offers children the chance to step outside their comfort zone and overcome the unknown through activities that develop a sense of pride in oneself - such as rappelling down a 45-foot tower, playing paintball or camping out - while socializing with peers their own age.
MEXICO, Mo., May 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This combination of fun, accomplishment and encouragement create the ultimate synergy for positive personal development in children.
"Each MMA summer camp is uniquely designed to harness a child's interest and use that as a confidence-building tool," Camp Director and Director of Admissions, LTC Greg Seibert said. "We're not pushing them to achieve their fullest potential – we're inspiring them to do that themselves."
Camps are held at MMA's 288-acre campus in the heart of the Midwest in Mexico, Missouri. The 130-year old boarding school has a state-of-the-art academic building, air-conditioned dorms, a full gym, two weight rooms, a fieldhouse with indoor track, a large indoor swimming pool, horse stables, a paintball course and an outdoor challenge obstacle course with both rappelling and rock climbing walls.
