CAMBRIDGE, Mass., April 1, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MIT Sloan Executive Education announced today the innovative online leadership course 'Building Great Teams: The Enterprise Leader's Playbook' debuting in June 2021. The live online course is designed to give leaders the necessary skills to navigate the evolving enterprise structure. MIT Sloan's Doug Ready, an expert on organizational transformation and the role of senior executive teams in driving change, will lead the inaugural session of the course on June 9-11, 2021.
The landscape for leadership has changed. Increasingly, senior executives are accountable for the economic and social welfare of the entire enterprise while simultaneously overseeing projects, functions, and employee culture. These shifts have highlighted the need for business leaders to obtain the skillsets and mindsets necessary to guide entire organizations toward greater agility and growth.
"The more we progress in our careers the more we realize that truly effective leaders accomplish more with diverse, high performing, and inspired teams," said Ready. "This is particularly true during times of transformational change, such as what we are experiencing now with massive changes in business models, demographic shifts, and a rapid reconfiguration of how our work gets done. Simply put, great leaders are skilled at building great teams."
'Building Great Teams' has been created to help senior executives think differently about what constitutes effective leadership in this ever-evolving environment. The online leadership course is designed for executives who are in leadership roles across different functions, geographies, units and practice areas, or who are on the path to serve on enterprise-level teams. The course will be offered entirely online via a highly interactive, live Zoom format to practice social distancing while still fostering opportunities for a hands-on experience.
Enrollment is now open. Interested participants may learn more and apply online here. For a full list of Executive Education courses, visit the MIT Sloan website.
