Wireless Semiconductor Veteran to Establish San Diego Design Center

MixComm today announced the appointment of Aristotele Hadjichristos as Vice President of Product Development. Hadjichristos joins the leadership team that includes MixComm’s CTO and Co-Founder Dr. Harish Krishnaswamy, Co-Founder and VP of Engineering Frank Lane, VP of RF Technology, Dr. Arun Natarajan, and CEO, Mike Noonen. Hadjichristos is based in San Diego and will establish MixComm’s new design center there.

Hadjichristos brings to MixComm many years of proven experience in all aspects of RF Front-End mobile product design and development. He has led development of advanced cellular transceivers that have shipped in billions of 3G and 4G phones.

Most recently, Hadjichristos was Senior Director of Design for RF and mmWave reference designs at GlobalFoundries. Prior to that, he led an international design team at NXP Semiconductors designing mixed signal products for top tier mobile OEMs. Hadjichristos was with Qualcomm for over ten years where he led the development of the first generation of RF Front-End products and two generations of CMOS 3G and 4G cellular transceiver products. Prior to Qualcomm, he designed transceivers for GSM products at Ericsson Mobile Platforms. He started his career in Italy as an RF and microwave circuit design engineer. Hadjichristos holds about 100 US and international patents and has authored or co-authored several IEEE papers.

“The MixComm team has developed truly differentiating technology that raises the bar for mmWave 5G Beamforming Front End Modules. I am really excited to join this world-class team,” said Aristotele Hadjichristos.

“There is no better validation of MixComm’s technology or potential than the addition of Aristotele. He is the number one draft pick in the world of RFIC technology, with an emphasis on power amplifiers and SOI CMOS. I can think of no one better poised to lead the productization of MixComm’s technology,” said Dr. Harish Krishnaswamy, MixComm CTO and co-founder.

“We are ecstatic to have Aristotele join the MixComm team. He is a recognized leader in RFSOI technology crucial to 5G success,” said Mike Noonen, CEO. “He also brings hands-on experience developing products with world-class quality for demanding, high-volume customers.”
