Vehicle records sync automatically from Geotab into Mobility Places, which keeps every parking operator the fleet uses informed about which vehicles are authorized to park.
For fleets operating across markets, an outdated vehicle list can become an expensive problem. Each garage or lot has its own access and enforcement processes. When a vehicle is added or swapped without the operator knowing, it can be ticketed, towed or denied entry, even when the fleet has paid for parking.
Keeping those lists current has typically meant logging into a separate portal for each parking operator and entering vehicles by hand, often while also coordinating vehicle deliveries and onboarding drivers for a new market. A single mistyped license plate can lead to a citation.
The integration closes that gap. Vehicle records sync automatically from Geotab into Mobility Places, removing the need to enter them again by hand. Fleet teams link vehicles to the locations where they will park, and Mobility Places notifies operators as the authorized vehicle list changes. Updates and removals in Geotab carry through automatically.
Mobility Places handles those notifications according to each location's access and enforcement processes, whether the operator uses license plate recognition or checks plates on foot. Operators can also view the current authorized vehicle list at any time through their Mobility Places portal. If an enforcement question comes up, fleet teams have a record of what was communicated to the operator.

The integration builds on Mobility Places' existing vehicle registration and operator notification workflows. Integrated fleets also receive monthly utilization reports to help match parking capacity to demand. The integration is available now to U.S. Geotab customers for parking locations managed through Mobility Places.
