MobilityWorks Expands Nationwide Footprint in California and Nevada with Acquisition of Better Life Mobility
Richfield, OH (PRWEB) August 05, 2016 -- MobilityWorks®, the nation's largest retailer of wheelchair accessible vans, announced its second acquisition only two days apart with the purchase of Better Life Mobility Centers. MobilityWorks had recently announced the acquisition of Advanced Mobility Systems of Texas on Wednesday.
Headquartered in San Diego, CA, Better Life Mobility Centers was started in 2004 by Mo Abusham who was injured as a young man in a football-related accident. His experience led him to start the company and to live its motto "Life Without Limitation". Better Life has locations in San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside and Las Vegas, NV. The two companies have been friendly competitors in the Southern California area for many years.

The acquisition significantly adds to MobilityWorks' presence in the state of California, where they already had eight existing showrooms. Better Life Mobility’s Las Vegas location will be the company’s first in the state of Nevada. With these recent acquisitions, MobilityWorks will have 68 consumer locations in 23 states.
