Modern Architecture + Design Society Announces Annual Austin Modern Home Tour is On
Submissions are open for the February virtual event which includes LIVE walkthroughs with 360˚ imaging and audience Q&A Architects, builders, designers, and owners can participate with any home in the greater Austin area.
AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Modern Architecture + Design Society (MA+DS) has announced that the 13th annual Austin Modern Home Tour will take place as a virtual LIVE streaming event on February 20, 2021. Submissions are open for architects, builders, designers, and homeowners who want to showcase their projects/homes to a captivated audience.
Vaccines have been tested and approved and are being distributed throughout the country, but the world is still many months away being able to gather safely for large events. The good news: for architects, builders, and designers, the Modern Architecture + Design Society (MA+DS) is presenting the annual Austin Modern Home Tour in a way that gives everyone everywhere the opportunity to experience their work… throughout the year.
"We use 360˚ imaging to create a virtual walkthrough of each project," explains MA+DS founder, James Leasure. "We explore each space with the architects, builders, designers, and owners and discuss the finer details of each project, while answering questions from the virtual audience."
Leasure continues: "The virtual tour affords the opportunity to showcase those special homes, perhaps the high-end ones, with clients that do not want thousands of visitors walking through. It also opens the possibility of showing the homes that can't accommodate hundreds of cars parking in the area or the ones that are a little too far out of the region for the physical in-person tours."
The LIVE segments will be recorded and available to tourgoers and future Modern Home Tour Pass subscribers for the rest of the year, thus creating a yearlong discovery of the work.
Submissions are now open and applying to participate is free. Homes will be accepted from all around the greater Austin area.
