Money and Power: Reviewing the Human Condition
London, England (PRWEB) January 17, 2017 -- The thirst for money and power and the drive of revenge are some of the many factors that have led to the corruption that has embedded itself into our society.
For Patrick Faure, society’s struggles with wealth, corruption and technology come as no surprise. An international businessman, painter, consultant and U.S. Army veteran, Faure’s experiences have taken him around the world and have exposed him to many walks of life, from serving as an interpreter between armies to developing a career as an artist in the western United States.
“I have an extremely rich background and a very interesting life,” Faure said. “These are the elements that allow me to explore topics and write books that reflect both.”
In his new book, “The Datura Solution,” Faure gives readers a commentary on society’s greed and corruption through an action-packed story of a man tackling the trials of life. Faure uses classic struggles of humankind to create an updated look at how these timeless themes play out across an international setting of war, crime, business and passion.
“I transposed Achilles to the 20th century. It’s a tale of love, tragedy, brutality and greed that builds into a fight for survival,” Faure said. “Despite being an action novel, the story delivers a philosophical message regarding the human condition.”
