HOUSTON, Texas, July 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CHAD CHRISTIAN has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Property Management. Chad joined the organization in late 2019 as the Vice President of Operations and since that time the portfolios occupancy has increased over 10% and he has spearheaded all of the company initiatives through the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. Chad has shown that he is a "get things done" kind of leader.
In this newly formed role, Chad will continue to oversee operations, while adding additional supervisory responsibilities of accounting, human resources, payroll, information technology and will assist with third-party business development. Chad will continue to implement our technology throughout the organization ensuring that we are up to date with the latest trends and fully utilizing the systems available to enhance our performance while focusing on increasing our partnership with Real Page.
Prior to joining Monument, Chad has held regional manager and regional vice president roles for some of the nations largest management companies. Most recently with Avenue5 Residential, being based in Denver and working with clients such as Lowe Enterprises, CBRE, The Wolff Company, and USAA Real Estate. Chad is very active in the local, state, and national apartment associations being a two time NAA Award recipient, as well as a member of the prestigious NAAEI Faculty. Chad currently holds his CAM and CAPS credentials through NAAEI and is a CPM Candidate through IREM.
MARK ZHANG has been promoted to Associate Director of Asset Management & Acquisitions. In this new role, Mark will focus on ensuring the portfolio is financially performing, while ensuring all underwriting and new business is a focus of the company. Mark joined the company in 2019 as a member of the acquisition team. Many of Mark's previous career experiences revolve around investment opportunity evaluation. He started his career in private equity working alongside firms like Monument to perform underwriting and due diligence for hundreds of industries and assets. Prior to Monument, Mark earned his bachelors degree from Pennsylvania State University in business and finance and earned his masters in finance and investment from Washington University in St Louis.
