Moosejaw to Host Annual Job Fair on Halloween at a Bowling Alley
Madison Heights, Mich. (PRWEB) October 24, 2013 -- Moosejaw Mountaineering, the quirky outdoor retailer based in Madison Heights, Michigan, is looking to hire 300 seasonal staff members for its warehouse and customer service teams for the holiday season.
Moosejaw will be holding a job fair on October 31st from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bowl One Lanes, 1639 E. 14 Mile in Troy, Michigan. Moosejaw is encouraging everyone to wear their Halloween costume and enjoy a free game of bowling. They will be taking applications, answering questions and conducting interviews for customer service and warehouse positions.
Every year Moosejaw hires between 150-300 seasonal employees to accommodate their increased business over the holidays. Many of the people hired as seasonal associates stay on after the holidays and some move onto corporate roles here. In fact 19% of Moosejaw’s current corporate staff started off as a seasonal customer service or warehouse associate.
