Those outside the industry may not understand that there are two important steps to this type of sale: first, to download a catalog which anyone can do, and second, to participate in advanced registration, which is a unique way for experienced buyers to participate. Advanced registration will close at 11:59 pm on 8/31/2018, so anyone who truly wants to participate in the sale needs to act immediately.

A BRAHMAN CATTLE SALE NOT TO BE MISSED

Moreno Ms. Lady Reba 112. Over the past 10 years Moreno Ranches has assembled and bred one of the most successful herds of Red Brahman Cattle. Although the Ranch has produced a number of champions, Moreno Ms. Lady Reba 112 still stands as one of the most recognized. In 2015, Smokin Gun sired three of the four division winners at the International Show, including the Grand Champion Red Bull. He is also the sire to the 2016 and 2017 Reserve National Champion Females As most know, the semen on Smokin Gun is extremely rare. 201/9 Maternal Legend Wow, Wow! At the request of customers, the Ranch is offering an aspiration on what many consider to be a matriarch gray cow. A book could be written on this female and the cow power that she represents. The Ranch could go on and on about her influence but to keep it simple they have retained four generations of this cow family in the herd. 201/9 is a former show cow that won her class and division on a consistent basis. Although she was a proven winner, it is her production that has been unparalleled. She currently has over 40 head registered in the ABBA with eight of them being show winners, three herd sires and seven donors for some of the most recognized herds around the world. The sire of 201/9 is +KC Justice that has been a proven sire for us and 36 other breeders in the United States. The real difference maker in this pedigree is the +–GS 314 female that has produced 42 registered offspring with many of them, both red and gray, being winners and proven donors. As you might expect, 201/9 has a proven track record producing an average of 33 oocytes and 14 embryos over seven aspirations.
