Jimmy Lacquer, a junior majoring in sound engineering at a local junior college, and Marvin Chuckles, Jimmy’s classmate and one of his closest friends, form a group called Mix & Scratch and they embark on a musical journey to pursue some rewarding careers. Along the way, they meet Michael Snuggles, a self-proclaimed prophet in the entertainment industry, Boots and Thongs, two sexy and electrifying dancers and background vocalists, and Mr. Bee Bee or Boom Box, a mysterious little agent who takes them under his wings.
