MS Birdie Bash Holds 4th Annual Golf Tournament to Raise Awareness and Money for Multiple Sclerosis
Shakopee, MN (PRWEB) June 12, 2015 -- The MS Birdie Bash & Dinner Event raises awareness and money each year to help fight Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and provides financial assistance to individuals living with MS.
The original inspiration for the MS Birdie Bash & Dinner Event was for the founders’ good friend, Rick Ebner. Ebner has courageously fought MS for the past 26 years. A portion of the proceeds from the MS Birdie Bash are allocated directly to Ebner and used to help his fight against MS.
This year’s Bash features former Minnesota North Star fan favorites Jack Carlson, Richard Zemlak and Curt Giles (current Edina High School coach), who will sign autographs and take photos with golfers and sponsors at the event.
Following a round of golf, golfers, sponsors and guests will enjoy dinner and drinks. The evening event includes raffles, games, prize giveaways, and a silent and live auction. The guest speaker is Kevin Burkart, a leading philanthropist for neurodegenerative diseases. Non-golfers are welcome to attend and donations are appreciated.
Registration for golfing or dinner is still available. MN Birdie Bash is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All profits will fund the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Rick Ebner MS Fund.
To date, MS Birdie Bash has raised more than $100,000 for MS. To register or donate to the MS Birdie Bash & Dinner event on June 22, 2015, visit http://www.msbirdiebash.org.
