Murrieta Genomics, LLC, the Southern California genomic sequencing business incubator, is inviting the public to its Grand Opening at the Murrieta Innovation Center on August 24th, 2018 beginning at 3 pm. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 pm, and the Innovation Center, located at 26442 Beckman Court in Murrieta, will be hosting tours of the facility during the afternoon festivities.
“This marks an important development for our company,” stated Brandon Young, one of the four founders and the CTO of Murrieta Genomics. “We are extremely happy to be moving into our newly constructed genomic sequencing laboratory. We will continue to perform sequencing services for our research clients, and now we can begin bringing new researchers and incubator companies into the facility.”
While healthcare is the primary focus of Murrieta Genomics, the company also welcomes researchers and entrepreneurs in the consumer products, agriculture, forensics, and veterinary fields.

Murrieta Genomics has one incubator company in place already. EpigeneticsRx offers a comprehensive set of tools allowing physicians and their patients to have everything they need in one place for precise, personalized, preventative healthcare. The company uses genomic sequencing to create a personalized nutrition and lifestyle treatment plan for consumers, partnering with doctors interested in a holistic, integrative approach to health.
There are several healthcare technology companies currently in the Innovation Center, including GattaCo that has developed a patented technology that simplifies the biological sample collection and processing steps used to generate lab quality data. GattaCo’s flagship product, the Sipon, is a self-contained, fully-automatic and disposable centrifuge replacement tool that allows blood-based diagnostics to be moved out of a lab and run anywhere.
Sandhill Crane Diagnostics, another company at the Center, is dedicated to bringing equitable healthcare to global rural and other low-resource communities. Their mission is to develop affordable on-site medical diagnostic testing and telemedicine products for use in these healthcare settings.
Lit Central is a pending addition to the Center and has spent a decade developing a software platform that allows healthcare providers to dive deep into the overall healthcare experience, while providing a transparent "grade" for the public. This is one of the key pieces of information future patients desire before entrusting their lives to healthcare providers outside their immediate network of care.
The focus on innovation in healthcare is shared by local healthcare organizations.
