NEW YORK, April 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Music Choice, the multi-platform video and music network, is partnering with The Heavy Group/Republic Records for an extensive promotional campaign for Music Choice's 2019 Artist To Watch, Shaylen.
The initiative will build awareness around up-and-comer Shaylen, whose raw, honest lyrics, evocative songs, and rule-breaking outlook on double standards add up to an undeniably powerful force poised to take over the industry.
Support of Shaylen kicked off in January, with promotion of her singles "El Dorado" and "Isn't You," just the first layer of Music Choice's expansive artist program. The network will continue to elevate Shaylen's music, including her infectious new track "BTW." In June, Shaylen will star in a custom commercial, calling attention to her music, videos, and interviews on all Music Choice platforms.
This fall, the rising star will take the stage for Music Choice's Emerging Artist Showcase. Shaylen will deliver an intimate performance at Music Choice, while also starring in an episode of their breakthrough artist series, Primed, where the network is keeping their finger on the pulse of what's next in music.
Eli Chitayat, Senior Director of Content Strategy for Republic Records, will work closely with Music Choice to manage this unique program. About Shaylen:
Hailing from Dallas, TX, vocalist and songwriter Shaylen is both equal parts veteran and neophyte to the music industry. A former pop group member turned solo star, Shaylen became classically trained in piano and took master classes at the world renowned Septien Entertainment Group (home to other superstars like Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato); and after a short-lived stunt in a successful global touring group Shaylen found herself moving to Los Angeles to re-start her music career.
