DALLAS, Feb. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MV Transportation, Inc., a recognized leader in passenger transportation services, today announced two new additions to its Board of Directors. Carolyn Flowers, Senior Vice President at AECOM and former head of the Federal Transit Administration, and Scott Letier, Managing Director of Deason Capital Services, join MV as independent directors. With these appointments, the MV board now expands to seven members with Flowers and Letier joining MV founders Alex Lodde and Feysan Lodde, Chairman Lisa Winston Hicks, John Rogers, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Capstone National Partners, and Kevin Jones, MV Chief Executive Officer.
The MV board conducted a thorough search for its new directors, considering candidates with skills that would complement the current board's experience and who also shared MV's passion for the role that transportation can play in shaping and sustaining our communities.

Flowers is a recognized thought leader in public transportation, previously serving as Chief Executive Officer for the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), Chief Operations Officer for Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), and Acting Administrator for the Federal Transit Administration. She is currently Senior Vice President and Americas Transit Market Sector Leader with AECOM. Flowers also serves on the boards of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and North American Transit Services Association (NATSA).
Letier has over 25 years of experience serving as a private equity investment professional and chief financial officer. As Managing Director of Deason Capital Services, a family office with over $1.5 billion in assets under management, he is actively involved in investing in private and public equities, as well as alternative assets in addition to managing administrative, accounting, estate, and tax functions. Letier also serves on the boards of Xerox Corporation, Conduent Incorporated, Stellar Global (a Melbourne Australia based multi-national CRM/BPO firm), and Gardenuity (a garden focused tech enabled retailer).
