BROOKLYN, N.Y., Aug. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Since 2016, MVI Systems has been developing cloud-based property management platforms and products for the residential multifamily building market that balance security with mobile readiness and system flexibility. In just three years, MVI has patented its KeyCom® Smart Video Door System and Advanced Building Management Platform, and released its myKey™ smartphone app – a kiosk-based entry system providing users with keyless Bluetooth entry, digital keys, two-way video access control, timed digital visitor keys, facial recognition, and the ability to manage guest entry and package delivery.
This week, MVI announced the launch of its new Mobile View Web Portal featuring a user-friendly layout, improved navigation, and updated functionality, making updates from a mobile device easier than ever. MVI's Patented KeyCom now provides users with touchless access, making entry into their buildings more secure and safer than ever before.
"Building managers today are not sitting in their offices all day anymore," said MVI Founder & CEO Samuel Taub. "They need safe, secure access to their buildings in real time. The Mobile View Web Portal makes it possible for these managers to do everything they're accustomed to doing from computers in their offices from the convenience of a mobile device or smartphone, anywhere in the world."
According to Taub, building managers can use the Mobile View Web Portal to add and/or delete residential information, vacate & onboard residents, access their unit directories, and view and filter access logs by date or by unit – all using their smartphones.
The Mobile View Web Portal allows managers to enable access for new residents on the spot. Several keystrokes generate a text or email to new residents, who then fill in the information requested to receive instant access. MVI's convenient system also enables property managers to seamlessly incorporate Virtual Self Touring into their tech stack.
An upgraded version of MVI's KeyCom interface that replaces words with icons and switches out more standard, contact-based scanners, interactive displays, and keypads with touch-free features is also improving the user experience. This contactless entry relies on either QR codes or Bluetooth technology, and can be safely, securely, and conveniently assigned by the resident to their visitors, delivery personnel, and service providers such as dog walkers, babysitters, and housekeepers.
"The post COVID world is undeniably different from the environment many may have been used to," said Taub. "Building managers are working more remotely. They need to access everything they need to securely and efficiently manage their properties in real time while on the move."
Residents in multifamily properties are also demanding secure, frictionless access in ever-increasing numbers. MVI's Mobile View Web Portal and upgraded KeyCom interface address the needs of both managers and residents for the type of access they need in a post-COVID world.
