MWH Global Names Greg Stevens Utah Area Manager
Broomfield, Colorado (PRWEB) July 07, 2015 -- MWH Global, an engineering, consulting, and construction firm focused on water and natural resources, announced Greg Stevens will assume the role of Utah Area Manager for MWH in the Americas. Greg joined MWH in 1994 and brings more than 20 years of professional experience in the water and wastewater consulting industry. Greg will be based out of the MWH Salt Lake office.
A native of Utah, living most of his life within the Salt Lake Valley, Greg is passionate about the local economy and water challenges facing its residents. Effective immediately, Greg will begin applying his energy, passion and 20 years of experience with MWH in building an effective delivery team to invigorate the Utah municipal water/wastewater market.
Mr. Stevens will be transitioning from the business solutions team within MWH where for the past five years he was Director of Technical Solutions for Project Management Office Services. In this role, Greg and his global team provided full project life-cycle services including Planning, Design, Construction, Rollout, and Training for establishing systems and processes for the company’s largest municipal program management projects in North America.
In his new role, Greg will be responsible for client service, project delivery and management of the full suite of MWH wet infrastructure services throughout the State of Utah. Greg has extensive experience as a project manager, civil engineer and construction manager in developing water infrastructure in both rural and urban environments.
Projects that Greg has undertaken in his native Utah have included:
• Project managing the removal and treatment of groundwater beneath Hill Air Force Base, Ogden;
• Surface modeling and engineering analysis as part of the Provo flood control master plan;
• Principal-in-charge and chief architect of drinking water compliance and monitoring system for the Corporation of the Presiding Bishopric Water Division, Salt Lake City.

Mr. Stevens holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah, a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from UCLA, and is certified as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
