Asia based translation specialist, Mind Your Language (MYL) today announced the launch of a new integrated website translation service, enabling multinationals to have their website professionally translated with ease.

Asia based translation specialist, Mind Your Language (MYL) claims to translate more website content in Asian languages than any other language service provider. To prove a point they have just launched, a dedicated website serving the needs of Asian-based multinationals. The site is available in ten languages and, MYL says they have the technology to integrate with any open-source or enterprise CMS, making website content updates seamless.

“We know seamless multilingual website updates have been popular for a while in North America, and to some extent Europe, but no one is doing this at scale in Asia. We want to fill that void,” said Gerry Ball, MYL’s Founder and CEO.

With offices in Hong Kong and Singapore the company says its go-to market will be multinationals in these two locations, and in the sectors they focus on: hospitality, medical, finance, technology, fashion and retail and property.

The core technology works as a plug-in to the Content Management Systems (CMS), enabling users to push content to MYL direct from their CMS, and have the translated files ingested into the correct HTML content areas, before review and publishing.

“Clients that have deployed the new technology report productivity gains of 80%, which is material if you are making daily updates. It’s obvious that this is the way forward and the smart multinationals are already on this.” noted Ball.

The technology offers clients the ability to have various free machine translation options, and of course paid for human translation, or a blend of the two, which Ball says is becoming ever more popular in Asia.

“Clients are getting savvier – why human translate, when you can build a dedicated machine and have the translation team post-edit the output?” queries Ball.

MYL says it has the largest market share of the hospitality sector in Asia, with Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, Peninsula, Hyatt, Kempinski and Movenpick as cornerstone clients.
