Christina Forrest has been promoted to Account Director at Montclair, N.J.-based public relations agency, Violet PR.

Violet PR, a boutique, New Jersey-based public relations firm specializing in economic development, professional services and social good, announced the promotion of Christina Forrest to Account Director. In her nearly seven-year tenure with Violet PR, Forrest has successfully promoted clients ranging from large cities to mid-sized consulting firms and individual thought leaders.

Her Twitter campaign for the IBM Foundation’s P-TECH Network was named a top national project by PR NEWS in 2019.

As account director at Violet PR, Forrest will manage media relations, content development and social media programs for clients including Pittsburgh International Airport, Biggins Lacy Shapiro, Kansas City Area Development Council, luis vidal + architects and the New Jersey Business Action Center, among others.

Forrest, a Bergen County, N.J., resident, holds a bachelor’s in communication from Monmouth University, where she graduated with honors. She also works to mentor young women and aims to develop future female leaders in the PR profession. She served on the social media committee for PRSA NJ in 2020.
