GREENBELT, Md., Oct. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA), a nonprofit, member-based association for accounting, finance and business professionals, announced it received a significant contribution from Accenture to support the organization's new strategic plan, One NABA.
The Accenture grant will enable NABA to overhaul its national technology infrastructure and streamline its business functions and activities, including program delivery, communications and volunteer recruitment. It will also help the nonprofit manage and measure the value and impact it delivers through its mission.
In addition, Greg Giesler, Accenture's global business and commercial finance director, joined NABA's corporate advisory board effective October 1.
One NABA is the strategic framework underpinning the new vision for NABA helmed by President and CEO Guylaine Saint Juste to usher in a new era of change to the 52-year-old organization and across its 51 professional chapters. Through One NABA, the nonprofit will adapt to shifting industry trends and expand its membership to welcome a broader group of financial professionals, entrepreneurs and corporate partners.
"Accenture's investment in NABA acknowledges the importance of building an organizational infrastructure that supports the success of Black Business Leaders along the educational and professional continuum," said Guylaine Saint Juste, NABA Inc. president and CEO.
